Maintenance & spare parts

A playground or outdoor fitness space is a long-term asset, and keeping it safe requires ongoing inspection and maintenance after installation. While PlayCo equipment is compliant with the relevant Australian Standards at the time of installation, responsibility for regular inspection and upkeep sits with the site owner or managing authority.

Programming your inspections

PlayCo provides the information needed to correctly plan and record inspections in line with AS 4685:2021 “Playground Equipment”. Because this obligation continues well beyond installation day, we recommend building a simple inspection schedule into your asset management planning from the outset rather than treating it as a one-off task.

Fast access to genuine spare parts

Whether damage results from vandalism or ordinary wear and tear, PlayCo’s national warehouse network and in-house manufacturing capability mean replacement parts can be sourced and delivered quickly, wherever your site is located. This is one of the practical advantages of working with a manufacturer that produces components in-house rather than importing them: spare parts remain available for the working life of your equipment, not just the warranty period.

A Spare Parts Manual covering the most commonly requested items is available on request, along with equipment-specific guidance for items such as flying foxes, ropes and timber components.
